Join us for an annual gathering of the Smart Doll community here at the doll museum!

Bring your Smart Dolls and join us for our second annual meetup & celebration with the Carolina Smart Doll Club.

Saturday, June 20

11 am to 2 pm

Group photo at 12 pm!

We will have a special meetup room inside the museum during this timeframe. Museum is open 10 am to 4 pm.

At the NC Museum of Dolls, Toys & Miniatures at 440 South Salisbury Avenue, Spencer, NC 28159

Cost & Registration:

No pre-registration is required. Just pay admission to the museum at the door when you arrive (cash or card). 

Admission ranges from $5 to $10 per person. Click here to see our rates. 

Admission to our museum is always free for museum members, so consider becoming a museum member! It’s a huge source of annual support to our nonprofit!

About This Event: 

• Join us for a casual and fun Smart Doll community meetup.
• All dolls are welcome! Smart Doll not required.
• Walk around our museum and check out our collection of Smart Dolls, antique & vintage dolls, miniatures, model trains, and more!
• Bring your dolls, take photos, and connect with other collectors!
• Our museum is located in the quaint and vibrant town of Spencer, NC, in Rowan County. See the local sights! Lunch spots are available within walking distance of the museum.
• Personal buy/sell/trade/swaps are welcome, but no vendors please.

In Honor of Tommy

1 year ago in June 2025, we gathered with the Smart Doll community here at the museum to celebrate the life and legacy of a beloved Smart Doll collector, Tommy Meggs.

An incredible Smart Doll donation was made to the museum at that time facilitated by the Carolina Smart Doll Club. We received a stunning Smart Doll Mirai from the Carolina Smart Doll Club in Tommy’s honor plus a prototype donated by Danny Choo.

We are so grateful to the Club, Tommy’s wife Misty, Danny, and the entire Smart Doll community for their generous support of the museum!
