What is World Doll Day?
The tradition of celebrating World Doll Day began in 1986 by Mildred Seeley (1918 – 2001), a prominent figure in the world of doll collecting and doll-related entrepreneurship. Her substantial contributions include her prolific writings on doll-making and doll collecting. Her dedication to the world of dolls has left an indelible mark, making the second Saturday in June a meaningful occasion for doll enthusiasts worldwide.
