You’ll make a baby bear\, furniture\, and accessories for your Teddy Bear Tea miniature tabletop. \nNo experience with polymer clay or sculpting is necessary! \n \nDate & Location:\nSaturday\, April 11 from 10 am to 4 pm \nAt the NC Museum of Dolls\, Toys & Miniatures at 440 South Salisbury Avenue\, Spencer\, NC 28159 \nRegistration & Cost:\nRegistration is required. \nWorkshop is limited to 10 participants. \nCost is $120 including all supplies provided for you. This is a fun and easy process\, and Cat will share lots of tips to help if you are new to working with polymer clay.\nWhile the bear is firing\, you will assemble the table and cake stand. You’ll get a demonstration from Cat on how to paint the teapot\, dishes\, and cookies.\nOnce the bears are baked and cooled\, it’s time to pain the fur! May 16 to Sept 1\, 2026\nWe are proud to participate in the national Blue Star Museums program\, offering free admission to the museum to all active duty military families from May 16 to September 1\, 2025. \nThis nationwide Blue Star Museums program is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts\, Blue Star Families\, the Department of Defense\, and museums like our across America. \nActive duty service members from the Air Force\, Army\, Coast Guard\, Marine Corps\, Navy\, Space Force\, as well as members of the Reserves\, National Guard\, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps\, and NOAA Commissioned Corps\, along with up to five family members\, are eligible for free admission by presenting appropriate identification. \nAccepted forms of ID include the Geneva Convention common access card (CAC)\, DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID)\, DD Form 1173-1 ID card\, or the Next Generation Uniformed Services (Real) ID card. \nWe are proud to be the only museum in Rowan County to take part in this program. Join our email list to hear from us when registration opens for this event: https://ncmdtm.org/#modal-hojb9c2m85ut \nEvent details from Minireflections Miniature Club:\n\nOur project is a 1/2″ modern “Tiny House” with a main floor living area/kitchen/bath and a second floor bedroom loft\, deck and “garden”.\nWe want everyone to personalize their project so we are offering windows and door materials but you can decide the arrangement/placement of these items.\nCost for the day will include lunch and space rental along with a special souvenir and all materials needed for the basic project.\nRegistration will be open to 25 participants  plus Minireflections club members.
