The luncheon will take place from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm and will feature a hearty lunch with a touch of delicious German-themed dishes, as well as informative and engaging presentations about German dolls and doll making.

The highlight of the program will feature Rebekah Kaufman, also known as Steiffgal, a world-renowned expert on Steiff dolls and toys. Steiffgal is a 3rd generation Steiff enthusiast. Her personal collection of button-in-ear treasures numbers north of 2,000 and focuses on examples from 1905 to 1948, uncatalogued rarities, cloth dolls, and display animals.
Learn about the history of Steiff, one of the most famous doll manufacturers in Germany, and explore their exquisite collection of dolls and stuffed animals.

After the luncheon, join us for a tour and reception at the NC Museum of Dolls, Toys, & Miniatures, located nearby. Here, you can explore the museum’s extensive collection of dolls and toys from around the world, including rare and unique pieces that are sure to delight any doll collector or enthusiast.
